Our Heart:

We are passionate about our mission of serving the Church in its efforts to reach and equip youth for Christ.  This gospel tells us about the unrelenting love of God shown in the finished work of Jesus Christ.  "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1). This is the heart behind everything we do at RYM and is what we seek to highlight at our conferences.

Our Goal:

We host summer conferences which are God-centered, Word-driven, and Gospel-focused. Our goal is to provide a space where local churches from around the nation can gather together for worship, fellowship, and fun. During your week at RYM, you and your students will be encouraged and challenged by the Word of God, grow closer together as the body of Christ, and enjoy times of fun and fellowship.

Our Distinctives:

At RYM conferences, we prioritize teaching that is Scripture-forward and aimed at the heart. This happens at our nightly large group worship services, elective seminars, small groups, and individual devotionals.  Logistically-speaking, Churches will sign up their 'youth group' to come an RYM conference. Once onsite, we will house your students together, and then they will interact with other students from all other the country in electives and activities throughout the day.

FAQ's about RYM Conferences:

WHO attends RYM Conferences?
Any church youth group that is looking to grow in Christ and enjoy a time of fellowship together.

WHEN are RYM Conferences?
Check out our 2023 Conference Dates below.

WHERE are RYM Conferences?
We currently have six conferences in four locations - Texas, Colorado, Florida, and Maryland.

HOW do RYM Conferences Work?
Registration is done by church.  When registration opens in early February, group leaders visit the registration page and follow the steps to register your group. After a church secures spots for their group, RYM will further provide that church with a registration link to give to parents of the youth who are attending from that church to fill out. This 2nd registration will have information about each child so that RYM can responsibly and safely maintain a database of its conference attendees at any given time.

What grade does my student have to be in to attend?
Our middle school conferences welcome rising 6th graders through rising 9th graders and high school conferences welcome rising 9th graders through recently graduated seniors.

What are the sleeping arrangements at each facility?
While accomodations at each location is different, RYM conferences provide safe and healthy living and sleeping environments for all attendees. Rooms can sleep anywhere from 4 people to 60 people, but most rooms accommodate around 6-12 people. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about a specific location.

How many chaperones do I have to bring?
While RYM recommends a ratio of one chaperone for every six students for both male and female students, groups are required to have at least one adult leader/chaperone per ten students; male and female.

If I'm a Youth Leader or Chaperone, can I bring my own non-youth group children?

What sort of activities are available at RYM Conferences?
Each location has unique recreational opportunities.  In addition, RYM provides sports tournaments and other structured free-time activities which are meant to be fun and provide fellowship for your group. Every location has access to pools, basketball courts, volleyball courts, gaga-ball pits, kan-jam, spikeball, and many other activities! For more information, see each specific conference page.

What sort of food accommodations do the facilities provide?
Each facility does their best to accommodate guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions. When a parent is registering their child, they will note any dietary restrictions on that  individual registration form. Parents are welcome to contact us for more specific requests and inquiries about food accommodations.

Is there anything the leaders need to do or have before coming to RYM Conferences?
In an effort to increase and maximize the safety of everyone present, ALL leaders and chaperones must conduct a national background checks and take a brief online child safety training course in order to attend any of our RYM conferences.  Instructions for this can be found here.

What should my group pack for a week at an RYM Conference?
Comfortable summer clothes, bedding (sleeping bag or single bed sheets/blankets), a pillow, 2 towels (bath and/or beach), appropriate swim-wear (modest one piece or tankini for girls, modest length and fit suit for guys), Bible, pen/notebook/journal, refillable water bottle, rain jacket, close-toed shoes, sandals/shower shoes, toiletries, flashlight/headlamp, extra spending money (for additional snacks, book table, RYM merchandise, and other optional paid activities).
