Christology

An Advent Study

About the Study

Christmas is filled with joy—lights, gatherings, and gifts—but none of it compares to the angel’s message in Luke 2:10-11: *“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy.”* That good news? The long-awaited Savior, Jesus Christ, has arrived, born in Bethlehem as the promised King and Redeemer. This 6-week Advent study dives deep into the nativity story, exploring how God’s plan of salvation unfolded through miraculous births, ancient prophecies, and the humble arrival of Christ in a manger.

Designed for middle and high school students but adaptable for adults, Advent 101 walks through key passages from the Gospels, making space to reflect on both Christ’s first coming in humility and His future return in glory. Each lesson, taking 30-45 minutes, offers optional readings, thought-provoking questions, and illustrations from theological greats like J. I. Packer and C. S. Lewis, giving you the freedom to tailor the material for your group.
